Client Retention.а Thank you! We enjoyed a client retention of over 99%!а We will continue working for 100% retention by providing a service that exceeds client expectations!
E-File.а We E-Filed over 99% of our returns (corportate, partnership and individuals).а E-File is both efficient and more secure than mailing!а As we did last season we feel so strongly that E-File is the best method of sending a return that we did not charge for E-Filing to encourage participation.а Emailing returns to our clients for their review using encryption and pass-word protected files also increased this year.а This allows our clients to review their returns in the privacy of their home or office before approving a final tax return.аа
Stimulas Package calls, comments, questions and new business made this a most interesting tax season! There is talk in Washington about yet another "Stimulas" in the works.аа
"Off-Season" Activities:
1.ааClients seem to like the office phone number (770-735-3336) transferred (ported) to my cell phone.а This way clients can get me in Dallas, Texas, or Dallas, Georgia.а Several reached me this summer in Florida, Canada and Texas!
2.а Continued Professional Education (CPE) courses were completed in the following areas of study:
- Ethics.а This is an annual requirement to maintain license and remain in compliance with IRS practice and representation policies and procedures.
- Real Estate.а Tax law as it applies to this important and highly volatile industry.
- Choosing the Right Business Entity.а Looks at today's options when selecting the right "entity"; i.e., sole proprietorship, partnership, LLC, S-Corporation or C-Corporation.
- 2008 Tax Changes.а (December seminar)
3.а Financial Planning.а A new affiliation with H.D. Vest, a non-banking subsidiary of Well Fargo, offers NGTS clients the best of fee-only financial planning.а
